The Temple in Sussex is located in rural East Sussex, on the south coast of England. It is a beautiful oak framed, hexagonal structure inspired by the honeycomb and a homage to the bee. It is a unique venue available to hire for bespoke events: micro-weddings, corporate wellbeing and team building, celebrations, live music, sound recording, film screening, location shoots and teacher training courses.
We host regular retreats, classes and workshops in yoga, qi gong, breath work, ecstatic dance, sound baths, DJ events, film nights and other holistic experiences.
Sundeep Kaur Sitara is deeply connected with her Punjabi Indian heritage, which is hugely rooted in the preparation of food and the sharing of it. She is able to offer authentic Indian cuisine, tailored to any event and also runs regular Indian cookery classes.
All six sides of The Temple can be either opened or closed, with a powerful woodburner heating the space from within.
We are also able to offer the space surrounding the temple. Events often integrate use of the outdoor fire, cooking over the fire, whittling wood and crafting from natural materials.
Fires, food and culture are integral elements to the immersive experience at The Temple in Sussex.
We look forward to welcoming you!
